Charlie Musselwhite at the Botanical Gardens

Blues legend Charlie Musselwhite returns to Dunsmuir July 25. Legendary blues harmonica virtuoso Charlie Musselwhite headlines The 3rd Annual Mossbrae Music Festival on July 25
at Dunsmuir City Park's scenic Botanical Gardens Stage. Ages 16 and under will be admitted free with a paid adult age 21 and over.

A fine selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, fruits, desserts, hot foods, wines, microbrews & sodas will be available. The concert is a fund raiser for the Dunsmuir Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center. With 22 Blues Music Awards to his credit and 8 Grammy nominations, harmonica virtuoso Charlie Musselwhite has truly earned legendary status as one of blues music's most important artists. Charlie has performed and recorded with Bonnie Raitt, Tom Waits, John Lee Hooker and many more. His latest CD Delta Hardware reflects on Charlie's tougher edge, first evident on his breakthrough 1967 release, Stand Back. Most recently, Living Blues magazine readers once again honored Charlie naming him Most Outstanding Musician
(Harmonica) in their 15th Annual Reader's Poll.

This is a limited capacity event with general admission lawn seating. Gates open at 3:30 PM. Bring a blanket or chairs. No coolers please. Car pooling is encouraged.   2. “This is a not-to-miss opportunity to see the ‘Ambassador to the Blues’. Charlie Musselwhite was the 1995 Siskiyou Blues Festival headliner at the same Dunsmuir Park venue. It was the most-attended of the annual Siskiyou Blues Festivals during 1993-2001. You do not have to be a blues lover to walk away from this performance in awe.
